School Board Experience
- Severed on both elementary and secondary school councils, including as Chair.
- Has been an invited speaker for the YRDSB's "Quest" and "R.I.S.E Equity" conferences.
Work Experience
- Senior Lawyer and Executive Director at Community Legal Clinic of York Region for over 15 years.
- Represented clients at various courts and tribunals, including IPRCs and the Special Education Tribunal of Ontario.
- Hosted dozens of high school co-op students at the Community Legal Clinic of York Region since 1998.
Community Experience
- Founding chair of the Social Planning Council of York Region.
- Co-organized a conference on Poverty and Education for York Region in 2007.
- Co-organized the York Region consultation on provincial Women's Health Strategy in 2010.
- Active church member as an RHHA minor hockey official, scout leader.
